We had a an incredibly disruptive flight in January, that over doubled the duration of our trip home from abroad. United was not helpful, and offered us minimal compensation for the flight disruption. It took a few months, but Airhelp was able to get us almost $1000 in compensation. United was not offering even half that *eye roll*. AirHelp did take a commission. If we had had a membership with them we would have gotten $1400 instead of $1000. A membership may be worth it for folks who travel a lot. 10/10 recommend. We would have gotten peanuts if it weren't for them.
